Prices Reach Record Gains
According to the National Association of Realtors, the growth of single-home prices over the 12 month period ending June 30 was the greatest in History.NAR's most recent quarterly survey indicated that U.S. home prices increased at an annual rate of 13.6% to a median price os $208,300. Leading all metro areas was the Phoenix Arizona market, up 47%
The median home price is $243,400. Next was Cape Coral, Florida, with a 45.2%hike and median price of $266,800. The most significant decrease in home prices was posted by Kalamazoo, Michigan with a drop of 3.7% to a median price of $122,600.
